Too busy to socialize? Longing to meet people but you just don't have the time?

With today's fast paced lifestyle, meeting new friends and potential life partners may take a back seat.

But not if itzamatch.com and The Coffee Beanery can't help it.

The popular dating website and coffee shop has teamed up to create "speedmatching," a popular mode of dating among youths in Europe and America, geared for busy singles who want to meet their counterparts in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. In the Philippines, a speedmatching dubbed "Itzamatch Me at the Beanery" will be held on March 4, 7:30 p.m., at the Coffee Beanery in Metrowalk Commercial Complex, Meralco Ortigas Center, Pasig.

At the venue, there will be rows of tables for two in The Coffee Beanery (which is so popular as a dating venue that the place has come up with a tagline "Meet Me at The Beanery'). The "couples" will be seated opposite each other and will be given three minutes to talk. The purpose of the brief encounter is more of like a "teasing taster."

After three minutes, a loud buzzer goes off. The guys get up and move on to another table. Then, they have three minutes again with a new girl.

At the end of the conversation, the guy can use the itzamatch mobile score card to let the girl know that he likes him. If the feeling is mutual, the guy will receive a match notification with contact details such as e-mail address or cellphone number.

The event is a special invitation to itzamatch members only.
